Religious architecture

  • Convent of Santa Caterina (Saint Catherine) in Finalborgo: founded in 1359, it is now home to the civic museum
  • Convent of San Francesco (Saint Francis) in Finalborgo: the first plant was built in 1582 and rebuilt in the seventeenth Century on the remains of a medieval church. Today it is home to the Capuchin Friars

Civil architectures

  • Palace Cavasola, built in the 16th Century
  • Palace Brunenghi
  • Palace of the Court in Finalborgo was the judicial and administrative centre of the Marquisate of Finale
  • The Aycardi Theatre, inaugurated in 1804, is the most ancient nineteenth-century theatre of Western Liguria.
  • Castel San Giovanni (St John Castle), a Spanish defensive fortress, built between 1640 and 1645, still dominates Finalborgo.
