Museum of Musical Instruments of Seborga

An exhibition consisting of 135 valuable musical instruments dating from 1744 to 1930, divided into aerophones, chordophones, idiophones, membranophones and mechanical instruments (such as the phonograph).
All are part of the collection of Mr Giuliano Fogliarino, who has collected them in over 50 years of passionate research in Italy and abroad, keeping them all in perfect state of conservation and operation.
In 2008, he decided to entrust them to the town of Seborga, his birthplace, so that they could be collected in an appropriate space to be seen and appreciated by connoisseurs and visitors.
In the resulting exhibition, it is possible to review the era of belonging of each instrument, also directly hearing the sound, reproduced in the background in the exhibition room, reading the illustrated labels at the base of each of them and following the explanations that are made by expert musicophiles during guided tours.
The exhibition is open to the public every day (except Monday), including holidays, from 10 to 13 and from 14.30 to 18.
