From Piazza della Collegiata you get to the church of Saint Dalmas, which today is very different from the original building dating back to the 13th century. It stands near a fortress with the same name that was erected to defend the oldest part of the village. The building, mentioned for the first time in 1261, would have been erected by the Benedictine monks during their work of evangelization in the Argentina valley. Inside, there is a precious painting depicting St Peter Nolasco during the celebration of Holy Mass.
