Adjacent to the Cathedral, the Bishop Palace was the ancient residence of the bishop of the diocese of Brugnato and we find evidence of the presence of the building as early as 1100; erected on the foundations of the most ancient abbey of Saint Colombano, witnessed in documents and bishop records dating from 1200 to 1300. Renovated and enlarged in recent times, the building houses the local diocesan museum divided into two parts, one dedicated to the history of the building and another more strictly archaeological.
