It is an event that takes place in the Finalpia neighbourhood of Finale Ligure.
The event is the starting point of a broader integrated path that will developed during 2017/2018 under the cross-border Italian-French maritime project, entitled “Un Mare di Agrumi” (A Sea of Citrus). The initiative aims at improving the competitiveness of the territories and the capacity for innovation of the companies in the citrus chain of the countries participating in the project through the creation and adoption of joint strategies of local administrations for the development of an eco-tourism offer related to citrus.
During the days of the event, from 10 am to 7 pm, the streets of the town transform into a true citrus grove, from which a delightful journey will take place, among jams, sweet and salty delicacies, cheeses, aromatized beers, liqueurs and distillates made of or accompanied by the precious fruits. On this occasion, you can also enjoy sweets and hot beverages with citrus scent and, for lunch, aperitifs and dinners, themed menus in local bars, restaurants and gastronomy shops embracing the initiative.
In addition to Chinotto producers, members of the Slow Food Presidium, farmers of the area, nurseries, crafts of the gastronomy sector, several business owners have also supported the wider project, as a signal of a strong common desire to develop the tourist offer.
