The most anticipated and participated summer event in Albenga.
Also this year, during the second week of July, Albenga changes face and goes back in time, carrying city dwellers and tourists in the medieval age, romancing ancient legends and rivalries linked to the city of Albenga that will end with the historic palio of the four neighbourhoods, San Giovanni, Santa Maria, Sant’Eulalia and San Siro, the first two once populated by the upper class, while the second ones by the plebeians.
During four evenings, Albenga’s Old Town is home to medieval performances, games and tournaments, open cellars and more, in a unique atmosphere.
The centre will offer dozens of attractions and refreshment points, strictly compliant with the setting of the era, including menus.
The neighbourhoods will undergo ability tests in order to win the “Palio”, and the election of the “Pulcherrima Puella” will take place to elect the most beautiful lady of the Palio.
