What to see in Millesimo

  • Parish Church of the Visitazione di  Maria (Visitation of Mary) and Sant’Antonio Abate (St Anthony Abbot) – rebuilt in 1467 on a pre-existing building.
  • Church of Santa Maria (St Mary) – erected in the 12th Century, outside the walls of the old town of Millesimo. It was built in Romanesque style with three naves.
  • Church of San Rocco (St Roch) – built thanks to the population’s ex-voto in 1858 for the liberation from cholera, it replaced a pre-existing chapel on the other bank of the Bormida in Millesimo.
  • Parish Church of San Michele Arcangelo (St Michael Archangel)- the church was built in 1847 by the will of Father Giovanni Tommaso Ghilardi, bishop of the Diocese of Mondovì; Enlarged in 1889 and decorated in 1905, it has an interior chapel dedicated to St Roch.
