The trail is of medium difficulty and it develops for about 7 and a half kilometres.
We leave from the village of Colletta, to reach the hamlet of Oresine.
Walking along the path leading to Veravo you can see several rural architectures still in good condition: two small donkey-back bridges and a small rural chapel. Once in the village, you pass the parish church of NS Assunta, walk past the cemetery, crossing the Ciapamarea stand. Following the path that develops among olive trees, you reach the “stones” of Vesallo.
Going down the valley, you can admire the Chapel of S. Lorenzo (St Lawrence) where late-medieval frescoes are still visible.
Arriving in the valley floor, following the municipal road, you can see the three bridges on the Pennavaire Stream: San Pietro (St Peter) Bridge, Ponte delle Carpe (Carps’ Bridge), Ponte de Conche.
In addition, the lime kilns’ ruins can be recognized in the vegetation, as well as the remains of some of the wayside shrine, expressions of the great religious fervour of the inhabitants of this village.
The trail ends returning back to the village of Colletta.
