The Charterhouse of the Carthusians Monks and Church of San Pietro (St Peter) in Vincoli is located in the old town of the village, and it was inhabited by monks in the 15th Century. Renovated in 1626, it was left in disuse and demolished in part with the Napoleonic domination. Of the ancient complex it remains the majestic 16th-Century bell tower, with an octagonal dome.
