Cinque Terre’s Sciacchetrà

The PDO Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà wine is one of the most sought-after and famous raisin wines in the world. A true excellence, produced in limited numbers, in an area of rare beauty. The vineyards are grown on terraces that rise from the sea on the mountain side.
The Ligurian microclimate is perfect for the cultivation of the vine: the mountains protect the vines from the cold winds of the north and the beautiful sunny exposures are very ventilated and mitigated by the sea breeze. The considerable temperature changes between day and night contributes to grapes with very intense aromatic profiles, perfect for the production of raisin wine.
The Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà PDO wine should be served at a temperature of 12/14 °C. On the table, it accompanies perfectly aged, tasty or spicy cheeses. Also excellent to drink alone, as a meditation wine.
