Brugnato’s Cavagnetto is a typical dessert of the Easter period, with the shape of a small basket with the handle, from which it derives its name, inside which a whole egg is placed, shell included.
Once the Cavagnetto was prepared the day before and brought to church by children for the blessing, then eaten in the family the next day.
Its recipe is ancient and has been passed down from generation to generation up to the present day; some local bakeries, in the Easter period, still offer it to customers.
