Parish Church of Saint Martin of Tours

The parish church of Saint Martin of Tours was built in the seventeenth century by architect Arturo Fieschi. Dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours, it presents a façade in Baroque style with some distinctive elements including religious images frescoed in 1928, representing Christ the Redeemer, and the tympanum on which the effigy of the patron saint is housed. At the centre, there is a picture window with a representation of Archangel Michael and St John the Baptist on the sides, while inside, behind the high altar, you can admire a wooden statue of Madonna with Child, datable to 1400. The sides of the parvis and of the church have round arches, in one of which a stone fountain is located.
