Near the castle of Monleone, there is the church of Saint George, with the adjoining cloister, built in medieval times and officiated for over two centuries by the Franciscan friars. Inside, you can find a wooden group representing Saint George and the Dragon, by the Maragliano school; a canvas depicting St George killing the dragon, attributed to Rubens; a polyptych with Saint Lawrence among the Saints, attributed to Giovanni da Pisa, painted in 1400, and coming from the small suburban church of Saint Lawrence; a polyptych with Saint Ludwig enthroned among the Saints, attributed to Giovanni da Barbagelata and built in the sixteenth century; a Madonna with Saint Peter by Carlo Dolci; an Adoration of the Magi by Luca Cambiaso. In the adjacent cloisters, erected in the fifteenth century, the remains of interesting medieval frescoes, a marble bas-relief of 1455 and a bronze bell from the 14th century are visible.
