The park/museum, which offers a magnificent view of the town of Lingueglietta and of San Lorenzo al Mare’s marina, houses the home-workshop of artist Carin Grudda and her husband Günter Gerberding. For many years, this great artist, renewed internationally and boasting several catalogues, dozens of exhibitions scattered throughout Europe and who, above all, represented Italy at the 2011 Venice Biennale, has been living and working here.
The path that develops within the park, as in a widespread museum, reflects the multifaceted vein and the fantastic vision of its talented creator. Here, there is a large permanent collection of bronze sculptures, canvases, boards and modelled assemblages, also from recycled materials. The space set up by Carin Grudda, in short, lies on the border of two worlds (the real and rural world of Lingueglietta and the enchanted one created by her) that confront each other and dialogue.
