The Museum of the Filigree of Campo Ligure is one of a kind in Italy and probably in the world!
Inside, there is not only the representation of the production process of the filigree, but a rich collection of jewels, furnishings and objects of rare value, discovered in markets and shops around Europe by Pietro Carlo Bosio and his wife.
The entire collection was donated to the Civic Museum of the Filigree of Campo Ligure named after him.
Pietro Carlo Bosio was, in his continuous search for collector’s pieces, a disseminator of this art; in particular we remember the exhibition organized in 1973 by an important Genovese credit institute, the exhibition held in 1982 at Palazzo Andrea Doria in Genoa and the exhibition “Oro di Venezia” held in 1983.
A visit to this museum is a must if you are near Campo Ligure; even the youngest visitor will be enchanted by the details of the decorations!
