Borgio Verezzi’s religious architecture

  • San Pietro (St Peter)’s parish church: the church was built on the remains of the ancient Burgum Albinganeum castle in 1789 with the completion of the works in 1806-1808
  • Sanctuary of the Madonna del Buon Consiglio (Holy Mary of the Good Advice): the present aspect of the building dates back to the late Middle Age
  • Parish Church of San Martino (Saint Martin) Bishop: built between 1637 and 1645
  • Church of Sant’Agostino (Saint Augustine): building of the fourteenth century
  • Church of San Giuseppe (Saint Joseph): modern building built in 1963
  • Chapel of the Immacolata Concezione (Immaculate Conception): baroque, built in 1621
  • Chapel of the Campi (Fields): the first plant was built in the 11th Century, while today’s structure, as evidenced by a carved inscription in the entrance gate architrave, dates back to 1606
